This series contemplate the cacophony of emotions that arise out of grief and death. They contain elements of anger, confusion, longing, desire, sadness, loneliness, and humor. The hybrid figures are mainly composed of animals and humans that seem to be shape-shifting, merging into and emerging from one another. I consider the paintings in this series as instructive monsters, reminders of the chaos that is part of our nature.
